Catlike Helmets is a helmet manufacturer headquartered in Spain. They have loaded their helmets with the some of the most innovative technologies in helmet manufacturing. Check out these amazing features:
Catlike Helmet Technological Features
Graphine – Found in the Mixino helmet. Graphine is a new material derived from graphite. It is an extremely lightweight material, but has a resistance that is 200 times stronger than steel. The graphine is incorporated into the inner fibers of the helmets to make that extremely durable with minimal added weight.
ARC (Aramid Roll Cage) – Found in the Mixino helmet. Aramid is another fiber material that is know for heat resistance and strength. It is widely used in the military and aerospace industries. This fiber is interwoven with graphine and shaped into an inner skeletal system that forms the basis for Catlike Helmets.
Dual Flow – Found in the Mixino, Olula, and Whisper helmets. Through the use of no less than 39 vents and internal channels, making up the unique look of the Catlike Helmets, constant high volume airflow helps keep the rider cool.
SAS (Shock Absorption System) – Found in the Mixino and Olula helmets. Specific areas of the inner front of the helmet are filled with expanded polystyrene that absorbs the energy from direct impact.
CES (Crash Energy Splitter) – The honeycomb design made up of the vent holes not only keeps you cool, but it acts as a energy distribution system. Energy from impact is dispersed through the helmet via the honeycomb design, reducing the impact on the head.
LNP (Low Nape Protection) – Added helmet material to the rear of the helmet protects the lower back of the head, a very vulnerable and easily damaged area.
MSP EVO and MSP EXE – The 4-in-1 and 3-in-1 adjustment systems, respectively, allow for the perfect fit. The 3-in-1 system allows for adjustment around the head circumference, height adjustment to adjust how high the helmet sits off the top of the head, and ergonomic adjustment for different shaped heads. The 4-in-1 system has an additional rear adjustment to minimize pressure on the cervical vertebra.
Outlast – Found in the Mixino helmet. Okay, not this is just cool. The outlast system that is incorporated in to the helmet is a “phase change material” that absorbs, retains, and releases heat when needed. It senses the temperature of the skin and retains heat when the skin is hot. Upon cooling, it releases the heat to help maintain proper temperature and humidity in the helmet.

Catlike Helmets – Top of the Line
It is easy to see how Catlike helmets are considered one of the best bike helmets on the market. It also explains their larger price tag. These helmets are for serious bikers or for those that like to spoil themselves. Seriously, unless you are a serious competitor, these helmets are luxury items. They are amazing helmet and definitely some of my favorites, even with the higher price tag.
Unfortunately, finding them at your local sporting good store is probably not going to happen. These helmets are a bit tricky to find, but not impossible. The best place to find them, and luckily, at the best prices is on Amazon. If you are interested in purchasing a Catlike Helmet, click below to read reviews and get more information on them.
